All BENCHMARK wilderness experiences provide participants, in groups of 6-12, an opportunity to develop skills
in making wise decisions and habits for the deeper Christian life. Our wilderness trips allow participants and
instructors to live life together, to solve problems and explore what it means to live in community around the Word
of God. These trips can foster communication and group cohesion through the shared experience, which can
deepen relationships. The components of our trips are designed to develop endurance, curiosity, and compassion.
Our objective is to enhance leadership, servanthood, and character in the lives of the participants.

Other ministries, churches, associations, or camps can
partner with BENCHMARK to expand their own ministry
offerings. BENCHMARK specializes in wilderness experiences
that can be customized to meet the needs of almost
any group, almost anywhere. These trips can range from
a weekend to a week or longer. We can plan a short entry-
level trip or a trip that will take you to a whole different
level of intensity, difficulty and possibility.
Experience has taken BENCHMARK’s senior wilderness
instructor to Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky,
Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina,
Tennessee and Wisconsin. Trips can also be planned in
areas closer to your location.
